Ripping out.....

As I was (again) ripping out some stitches I began to wonder.....Has anyone ever made a complete quilt without ripping something out? I have reached a point that when I sit down to work, the first thing I pull out of the drawer is my seam ripper. I am a fairly new quilter (but have sewed since very young) so I know I will get better. Maybe..Just wondered...........

seems that no matter what I'm sewing, I'm ripping something out. Yes, I'm OCD about it... I want it right:thumbup:.. But please don't send the quilt police just yet! 'cause my points just aren't there yet! :D

Same here! My ripper is almost a part of my hand by the time I finish a top!

I had a Guild day today and ripped three of four times but ended up with three good blocks (new pattern to me).

I can't believe that sometimes I rip out a seam just to sew it back the same way, so I have to rip it again. ARGHHHHH! I'm like you .... my goal is to someday quilt with ripping out .... maybe.

I've added to my collection of rippers so many times its embarrassing. Sometimes I get my stiletto and ripper mixed up - that's interesting!
