Sometimes the blades cuts into the bolt on the Fiskars cutter and then it stops the blade from turning. I was a huge Fiskars fan for many years, but after three Fiskars cutters died for various reasons, i switched to Olfa. I have 6 different cutters now and can't complain about any of them.

I have 4 Olfas - 2/45, 1/60 and the tiny one (which is too small for anything). I use the 45's the most and really love them. I have tried the Martelli cutter. It is wonderful to hold and use but as my others work just fine I will hold off purchasing #5!!

Make sure that the parts on put back on correctly, I had that issue too and had to re do everything and then no problems

I literally haven't had a rotary cutter problem because of the rotary cutter. I did once put in the blade wrong for one of the brands.
Yes, many of my friends absolutely love the Martelli ergomatic rotary cutter. I can't use it as effectively because the arthritis is in my fingers. Darn. The Ginghers are too weighty for me to use. So, I stick with my Fiskars and the squeeze of type of Olfa cutters I guess it is which one fits and works well with you. ali. |

I use Olfa cutters. The plain straight-handled ones. Love them!

I've been using the same 45 mm Olfa cutter since the mid 90's and it's still going strong. Now the blades are a different story. Seems like each package, I get less and less usage from the blades.
