saw it but didn't consider it only because it looks like it attaches to the top of the machine (like some kind of sticky) but my bobbin is top loading so it would just be in my way.

I've tried the 1/4" foot with the flange and didn't care for that either. So I just learned to sew a good 1/4" (tons of practice).

The ad says: FLAT surface of at least 5" in FRONT and 7" to the LEFT of the needle is needed for proper use.

I had something similr but it didn't work because my newer Brother machines have a slight curve on the bed.

Moleskin is usually found where insoles, shoe inserts, etc are sold in most stores. Moleskin is thinner, and molefoam is a thicker form.

Ok ladies i am a gagdet girl and I bought it and I tried it once and took it off after i tried to sew one strip. Was not impressed . It is a harder stiff plastic and is suppose to stick to your machine bed. Ok but it seems to stiff and i spent more time making sure the guide was against the material so i could sew the perfect 1/4 . Was not worth the money even if it was under 10.00 still that money i could have bought a yard of material ..

I bought it, and I've never used it. I'll be watching for comments, too.

IMHO..your seams being straight, is still dependent on your feeding it through the plastic.

as to fast? i sew pretty fast, because i watch the right side of the fabric and not the needle. i am confident when i sew..

but you know how we quilters are..we like gadgets! and we like rating them too!
