Fabric in Norway costs 4 times more than in the USA (et al) so I shop and tote it home with me.

I can have what I need on hand, without having to go out and buy it. I call it stocking up ;)

Its called being a fabricaholic and I am definitely one. I love to look and feel of beautiful fabrics. I keep telling myself that one day when I retire, I won't have the money so I need to stack up. Problem is that if I sewed everyday for the rest of my life, I doubt I would use all that fabric...that being said I think I'll just keep on buying it.

So here are some more pics of my studio. The first one is a sign I made which is on the door at the head of the stairs leading downstairs to my studio in the basement. The next is more fabric. The next is my sewing table, surrounded by all the notions I'll ever need to play forever and ever.
