The I Spy quilts are fabulous ! I'm still collecting novelty prints for mine.

Someone on the Board awhile back showed how to piece the 9-patch so that when you cut and reassemble all the corner focus/novelty fabrics are upright; that is, the dog/boat etc is not upside down or sideways.

I need to look that up because that's why I've never made a DP9... I'm too OCD to have my stuff upside down... LOL!

Ooooooh... this is fabulous! I would have never been sharp enough to think of a nifty setting like that! Thanks for sharing it with us!

My favorite is the "I Spy" with the hexagons - unfortunately I don't have any photos because I have given them to the small children for whom they were made. One was with 3 inch hexagons and the other was 5 inch. Since I did fussy cutting each one it was a lot easier to do the 5 inch. When there was still MLB fabric available I did one with all the teams for my daughter. But it is on her couch and no picture available. The children's quilts I used red for the triangles and it really made them pop.
