I have it and love it. Took me a little while to get use to it. Now I seem to curl up in my chair and sew. My legs don't swell so much now from hanging down. Once you get use to it, you don't even have to look to find the button.

I use and love it. I use the foot pedal sometimes and can set the speed so no matter how hard I push the pedal, it will only go as fast as I set it. But LOVE the button!

I use mine all the time for FMQ and I LOVE it!

I couldnt get used to the stop start on my viking until tonight when I was blanket stiching around vines.
Oh My what a difference.. |
Love it - used all the time.

I have two machines set up - one with a foot pedal and one with a stop/start button. I prefer the button,it has a slider that I use to adjust the speed when necessary. I didn't even plug in the pedal with that machine - have always used the button. Doesn't bother me to switch back and forth - I seem to prefer whichever one I'm working on!
(My sewing room is really the dining room - which is right through an opening into my piano studio - I teach 22 lessons a week - after I teach school all day. So ... guess my piano skills let me change back and forth? :) ) My older machine with the pedal will sometimes ... race a bit before it engages. Anyone else's do that --- grrrrrrrrrrrrrr - then start to sew? Drives me crazy. |
use mine off and on. i do use it when sewing with my daughter and youngest son.
