I spend a little time to cut the whole roll of batting to the sizes that you usually work with - twin, queen, etc. Then I store it individually wrapped, stacked in a safe, dry place. Usually top shelf of clothes closet. The batting is easily pieced in case you need a bit more .

I don't have room for it to hang horizonal but vertical would work. Your idea has given me an idea of how to store mine vertical and be able to roll it out. Now I'm keeping it in the original box and it is work to get to it and cut it. Thanks

Great Idea..I have my roll on my frame and 2 rolls standing up in closet. DO I NEED ANYMORE ROLLS?????lol

I know how you feel Penny! It just plain sucks to be poor, LOL. Especially when times used to be better and now in our *golden* years and know it's not likely to get any better!
