I've been gaga over the DP9 - just learned it recently. So I understand what you are saying. Oh - and my new favorite: inset circles with Cheryl Phillips' Circle-A-Round template. EASY PEASY!

Sitting here red faced. I misspoke. I have a different pattern, "take five goes crazy" it was given to me about 4 or 5 years ago. Guess I forgot the real name.

Am I the only one who gets stuck on one favorite pattern?

I am going to attach two pictures, just so you see what I am talking about. Each looks so different with the different fabrics.

Dina

Way too many quilt block designs for me to be stuck on one. Although I have done several Turning Twenties since I inherited a huge stock of 5 3/4" prefect squares.

I make A LOT of quilts, but I do have a few favorite easy to throw together patterns like warm wishes, enigma, tumbles, log cabins, all fun to do, yet I often mix it up with a new pattern or some paper piecing. As long as you are enjoying yourself then it shouldn't matter what pattern you pick for the year, just have a good time. :-)

I'm kind of atuck on boxy stars right now. Each one turns out to look so different by using a wide range of fabrics. Maybe I'll tire of it--if not, I'll just keep on making them! LOL!

Now I have to make one." I really like how easy they are to make. It's nice to make a quilt that you don't have to fight with. One without triangle or flying geese. The "Just Take Five" is a really fun, relaxing quilt to make. I understand you being hooked on it. I think I will make another one. You got me thinking about it. Thanks for showing us those pics of your pretty quilts.

That sounds about right. I've had the pattern for eons, looked at it a million times, thought "Oooh, I'm gonna make this next" & then promptly forget about it!

Back in the 90's I was on a SERIOUS "Trip Around the World" kick & then it switched over to "Dresden Plates". They're both addictive!

Your quilts look nice. That is a nice pattern. I am all about "quick and easy" patterns as I don't have much time to sew. I am stuck on Disappearing 9 patch (done in 3 color way or 4 color way) and "Just Can't cut it". I have made several of both of these patterns.

I have "Just Can't Cut It" and the fabric to make it (for my step-daugter) but just haven't got to it yet. Is it fairly quick & easy?

That's what I'm stuck on now. But my all-time most "stuck" is "Yellow Brick Road". I have made them in every size, in every color & type of fabric you can imagine. They're so adaptable. And quick. I just like that pattern. I like "Turning 20", too. Lately I'm just into quick & easy because I seem to "owe" so many quilts & be so far behind.
