There was a gallery including Sunbonnet Sue on Quilting Board. I can’t find it; is it still here?

The small pictures are from the pattern book from 1992, and the larger one is the one I have in my UFO's to be done. The UFO one is 10 inches tall.

Yes, I'm sure it is!

Here is the SBS I made using Eleanor Burns Quilt in a Day book. I made this for a friend who makes all her own clothes so all the Sue's from row 2 down are her fabric scraps. The top row is made w/fabric from clothes belonging to her parents and siblings. It was a fun quilt to make.

I have several old Sunbonnet Sue quilts. Most of the blocks are about 12 inches with the Sues being about 8-9. I was thinking if you could maybe get a book at the library? That's what I do sometimes when I want to make something more vintage.
Have you found any patterns online? That would even be easier. Hope to see what you make!

Pictures of the oldie blocks. Pretty please. With an applique cherry on top?

I have seen many quilts on Pinterest I would like to make, but have never been successful in locating the pattern. Have given up on Pinterest.

Totally agree! Half the links are broken, many links are labeled as pernicious and blocked by my browser, etc. etc. It's very regrettable.

Sign me Dying to get hold of a Carolyn Goin's Sunbonnet Sue pattern called "My Irish Grandma Sue" or it's male counterpart by Daisy Boulter called "Irish Sam in the Fields. "It's a stunning quilt.

:D A bit of research on Pinterest yielded the answer to your search:

Pattern can be found in Quiltmaker March/April 2005. Called "My Irish Grandma" Sue by Carol Goin.

Thank You for Your Post

HouseDragon, I appreciate your efforts to poke around on my behalf. Thank you. Unfortunately, the Pinterest link only tells where/when the pattern was once published. I knew that but was drawing a blank as to how to buy a copy of the out-of-print magazine. It's sold out on Amazon, eBay, and other vendors of out-of-print magazines (I checked with several), and Carol Goins has retired and no longer sells her patterns. Fortunately, an ISO post on SewItsforSale resulted in several leads to the 2005 magazine by kind people like yourself. I have already started picking out fabrics! Thanks again and best.

PS when I followed the Pinterest link, it lead me on to a new company called "the Quilting company" that has taken over several quilting publications (like Quiltmaker, Fons & Porter, etc.) and is not only publishing archival copies of these discontinued publications on their site, but is also selling selected quilt patterns from their archives in their store. Neither "My Irish Grandma Sue" nor "Irish Sam in the Fields" is featured in their store, but I have asked them to consider making them available. Perhaps if other SBS fans also asked, interested quilters wouldn't lose access to such stunning, lovely quilts.
