I use a metal drawer cabinet on casters that I got from IKEA
they cost $39.99 and has 6 drawers. Each drawer is the perfect height for the embroidery thread. I have 2 silver, 1 red and MOST of the drawers are full of emb. thread. Here is a link to the cabinets I use. HELMER 6 drawer cabinet at IKEA |

Haha I just added photos to another post about pegboard. I have mine on thread racks on pegboard. There isn't much I DON'T have on pegboard. :).

I wanted mine to hang on wall but because we live in rental hubby was none too pleased with that thought. He has a 3D printer and printed up some spool holders that stick with the 3M strips so they come off and leave no mark. Sorry for the horrible color my walls are tan and the light seems yellowish.

I love the plastic drawer units. I even have all the reds together, etc. Not that organized in other things but do so for the thread.
