I have made about 10 but I don't have one. I gave them all away:)

LOL, I have no desire to start yet another project. I've seen some beautiful ones especially from Jinny Beyer, but for right now I'm content to complete what has already been started. :-)

I've made bunches and bunches---but only kept two!!!

I've made a few different patterns, but like Goldilocks, I have to keep trying until I find one that's just right. Too small, too big, not enough pockets, wrong size pockets, you name it. I really need to come up with my own pattern. Maybe one day when I've got nothing better to do. :) In the meantime, I mainly use my "buttercup" bag. I've made it a bit larger than the pattern, larger still, but not quite right. The pattern was free. Here's a link:

I have made 2! I made two different patterns, and going to make a 3rd tonight. I liked the first one, now I am just having fun to see what else I can do. Don'tknow what Ill do with all my experiments.

I'm so far behind in my sewing I doubt I'll ever catch up! :lol: A few years ago I made a Lazy Girl Design purse and recently bought a mini Bow Tucks pattern but haven't had a chance to try it yet.

I'm in the bagless boat too. Having too much fun making quilts, wallhangings & doll quilts. Have one on my wish list though. My LQS has gone green & you get to put you name in a monthly drawing each time you make a purchase & use your own shopping bag. I thought it would be really cool to have a quilted shopping bag to use when I go buy quilting supplies.

I haven't really had a desire to make any. I have enough tote bags for the whole city I live in!

I'm an old bag. Does that count.

I would say bagless, but then I just took off my bra for the day...so...oh yeah...quilted bags...yep, bagless here...

I love making bags and totes. One of the ladies at work calls me the bag lady.

I have made some purses and totes. Some I gave away, some I sold. I don't carry any type of bag. Everything goes in my back pocket. :D

Bagless in Minnesota...don't think it will ever be as popular as Sleepless in Seattle....LOL

I'm bagless at the moment but do have a Bow Tucks tote bag pettern on order from Quilt in a Day. Can't wait for it to get here - it's been 11 days already!

Huh... Without exaggeration I have made thirty bags all kinds and sizes. Do I have one? No.

Count me in the boat as well. I want so much to make a bag that I went through every magazine I own and tagged all the bag patterns trying to find just the right one. I thought for sure the Bow Tuck was "it" but have seen so many that I'm kinda turned off now. I know the right one for me is out there but I just haven't been motivated enough to start. It's still on the list of projects to do. One of these days.....

I made one for my Mom a few years ago, I keep thinking I'll make one for myself, but the quilt bug won't stop biting me.

I don't normally use words like this but that is a "darling" handbag. I have added it to my sewing "bucket list". :lol:

I have to say I've made lots and lots of bags. Even though I love to work on quilts, I don't complete very many of the quilts. However, I've never not finished a tote. I don't have too many I've kept; either gave them away or sold them. But I do have a few that my quilting friends gave me and I use them all the time. I love switching them out and matching them to my mood. It also reminds me of the person who made it for me.

I made one and swore I would never do it again.

I have made quite a few bags but I end up giving them away because I find I like to make them but......don't like using them! There seems to always be something I wish was different.

I've made a few and kept everyone of them! I made one that is plain and simple with lots of pockes that I can just insert into any of the others so I can change my purse quickly!

I too am bagless. I see all the pretty bags and think " I should make one of those" but I never do. I have several bag patterns but never seem to get around to them...too many quilt ideas running through my head that I just HAVE to do!

I can finally say that I made my first bags last week. I was at my daughter's and she needed me to help her make some bags for her upcoming show. Me, I'm not a bag person, I love them but just not making them. I was really nervous but I did it. So proud of myself. The first bag, just a simple tote, took me two days to finish. The next, a Bow tuck bag, I finish in one day. Proud to say they came out pretty good.

bagless and staying that way!
