Number 1, but either will be beautiful!!
Darker one!!!
I like the first one. It's going to be a very pretty.....
I like them both, Let us see it when its done!!!!!
Either pink is good, but personally I think the green is too pastel.
I think in the 2nd photo there is more variation in the fabrics. The last photo the fabrics are too similar.
Beautiful fabrics. |
Pretty colors, my choice is the darker pink. It goes better with the floral and your other darker pink. Hope you post a pic when it's done.
I think that they would both work out great. The second is my favorite but you couldn't go wrong with either.
# 2 is my vote !!
#1
I like the first one. It seems to be more alive.
I like the first one best. You will have to post the finished quilt. Looking forward to see what option you choose
I like the first one too.
Beautiful fabrics.........no doubt at all........the first.....
I also like them both, but would go with the 1st one. The colors do mesh a bit smoother with the colors in the rose fabric.
The first because you darker color picks up the small flowere in the print
I know that I'll be in the minority but if you used both choices and dropped the green, I think I'd like that just fine.
What lovely fabrics. I think the first choice would make a stunning quilt.
i like them both also but would probably choose the first one.
I like the 1st also, seems to brighten up more
I like the second.
I like the lighter pink one!
I prefer the first one because the dark color pops against the floral. Also, the second is 'too close' to the outline patterns of the floral, if you know what I mean. You already have that in the darker pink on the right of the green fusion fabric. The dark specks are 'similar' to the tiny blossoms in the fabric, so that goes very well. That is my method on how I choose fabrics that go together, along with choosing colors around the main fabric, which you are doing also. May not always be popular way to do it, but that is what I do and it works for me. What is the name of the floral fabric? Love it!
I like the first choice.
EEEKKKK!!! This is hard! Both choices look great for their own reasons. Both look good (to me ) with the rose but the first is somehow a bit better. However, the second is more balanced with the depth of color to the green. Can't really make a decision here:)
Darker pink, I think!
I think the answer might be to copy all your choices on the printer in black and white. You will then see which one will be predominant and stand out best.
You could go a step further and cut out 1" blocks of each color and just place them on the printer and print out in color, that might also help to really see it. If you have Electric Quilt that would be another way to scan your fabrics in and then you'll easily see your color choices too. |

Ithink the darker one blends better with the floral fabric.
I like # 1. it looks bolder and stands out better.
I like the first...the darker of the 2....it makes the floral print pop!
I don't think you can go wrong either way but I like #1 better.
It seems we on this thread can't decide either! Everyone makes their case well. If you want the quilt to POP use the darker, if you want it more subdued, use the lighter. It will be beautiful either way. Be sure to post a picture for us.
can you tell me the name of the lilac material? just what I am searching for...
Of the two pinks, like the darker pink best.
I like the first choice much better.
Agree with number 1. Second choice the pink looks washed/faded out .
At first look, I liked the batik, but on a second look, I think the speckled one is better with the floral.
I like the darker one with the specks. What a lovely choice of fabrics.
Both of these fabrics will work...the line up of the fabric looks a little "matchy matchy" for me ..I would play around with the positioning of the fabrics..try moving your print fabric around.
I like them both! but the first ne is my fav it brings out the purple and makes it pop~love it
