For the blocks Omak, take one, it is a hexagon like all the other blocks, so cut it in the 6 triangles, I bet you can figure them out without much trouble.

I sort of figured that out ... I just haven't been able to study the picture long enough to see the whole "block" if you will ... BEFORE it was cut up!
The creativity just absolutely tickles me! So fun ... did you catch Miss Charisma's wedding star quilt in her PDA? That
is another one, I am going to try ... just have to figure out what to put in all that white space, since I tend to do to white what PigPen of Charlie Brown fame does to the general atmosphere! LOL <wave>

I just went and took a look and it is awesome, so much talent on the board,

You need three different fabrics from what I understand, a dark a med and a light. I have yet to tackle them, I will have to see if they are in the remaining book that I have, the other one took a trip to BC without me, and I found the other one in my cleaning up the sewing room, so I can actually read it. If I am not mistaken they are in the OBW Encore book which I don't have, A little math though will go a long way in doing them.

When I get a bit of time later in the week, I am good to try just slicing up three color strips to see what happens

Hi everyone, looking good! Saw you were talking about the cubes, yes they are in OBWs Encore. I tried to figure them out for the Dog quilt I made and even with Hans's help (he's excellent at maths) it was a nightmare. PLus to get all the different variations, you really need the book. BUT here's a link to the relevant pages, free online! http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-28431-1.htm

Salmon Sweet...I'm having so much fun lying here in the weeds watching these quilts come to life. Your colorway is exactly what I plan to use when I start mine this weekend...It's beautiful...I can't wait to get going. Thanks to all of you for the inspiration.

Did I miss it? Did I work through the time slot? The borders for the sticking out blocks and such??? I'm just asking...

Hugs

No I didn't do them yet, I am still stuck on fabric, though I think I have it worked out, What size first boarder are you going to use?
