I use Sewers Aide for regular hand sewing thread, have used beeswax, soap, & dryer sheet ( when I had a dryer ).
My quilting thread is YLI Hand quilting thread, I love it !! Threading needle with firstend & knot cut end at spool is how I do. |

I use bees wax but thanks for the tip as now I will save money and do this trick. As far as I know I have never heard of this trick so I would have to say you are a rare one. In a good sense of the meaning...

The acrylic piece around my machine becomes very static-y and I use dryer sheets to keep the static down and threads from releasing from it! Love those things!
