I use embroidery floss since I have a lot of it.

I prefer embroidery floss because then I can choose the color I want from hundreds of choices.

I recently was told that you should never tie quilts anymore that this very old fashioned an all quilts should be stitiched. Your opionion please.

By tying a square knot, it will not come undone.

Most small baby, kids and personal quilts here will be tacked.
Unless the person who told you is willing to hand stitch all of mine. (need about 5 done by baby shower time--Aug 6)
