My walking foot is on all the time, I sew everything with it on.

I LOVE my walking foot and wouldn't dream of making a quilt without it! If doing SID quilting it is a must! If you haven't used yours yet, be sure you put it on correctly. The little "forked" part must go on over the screw (at least on my Bernina) and it seems a little awkward the first time you do it. Check on You Tube for a video for your machine. On my machine, if I have not put it on correctly, which happened in the beginning, I'd get tiny little stitches. Good luck and report back to us.

Love walking foot. Would not quilt straight lines without one or piece bias pieces.

I backstitch with mine all the time. All three of them.

You just have to remember you can't zigzag or go in reverse
with the foot on, only straight stitching. That is the only drawback,
but it is a great investment.

I have one for one of my machines ad used it once and it was put back in the box never has seen day light sence.
I use Viking machines and haven't ever had to use it with the sencor foot and being able to adjust both top and bottom tenn. Could of bought a new ruler or more fabric.
A lot of the older machine have to use one so you get even feed so no puckering on the back.

I decided this was a good time to go ahead and make the investment with the 25% off but I don't think I'll making any more investments in equipment for awhile. I believe this was a great investment, I can see I can use this on other sewing projects.

I love mine, too. All of the above, and then some. :D

I just did a twin quilt with flannel, fleece and White and Natural. Would never have finished it without the walking foot I borrowed.
