LOL ... nobody warned me and I am sinking in a sea of UFO's! There are so many great patterns and tutorials that are addicting; I haven't tried the bow tuck yet, but I do have the pattern.

I'm still looking for the fabric for my first one. Soooo afraid to take the plunge.

pojo-it's a little time consuming but well worth the time. One of the best thing is some of the fabric we may have bought in the past and now we look at it and say, why in the world did I buy this? But it makes a great, beautiful stack and whack quilt. If you have fabric like this and it looks beautiful in the stack and whack, image what a beautiful piece of fabric looks like in a stack and whack. But, I've got to get the 10 planned quilts started before I can do another stack and whack.

I don't know why they don't appeal to me.

I agree, I just can't seem to get into them. Oh well, there are so many others to get into...

Too funny! I feel that way about each new pattern I learn. We are learning the stack and whack at our quilting meeting this month. I will be hooked.

Holice - yes we need to have Warnings!

Rhonda - love your saying!

Be Warned!!!

Kaleidoscopes are contagious!!!
Fabric Fever may set in!

Symptoms:

1.your heart beats faster and faster when you look at fabric
2. You break out in a sweat if you can’t buy that fabric
3. You look at a Kaleidoscope and know you can’t do just one!
4. You just can’t wait to get your hands on some fabric!
5. Your dreams are filled with fabrics to make more Kaleidoscopes!
6. You start seeing kaleidoscope possibilities in everything you see!

If you have any or all of these symptoms then you probably have:

Diagnosis: FABRIC FEVER and WHAT WILL IT LOOK LIKE? virus

Treatment:

You will need to buy more fabric to alleviate this symptom! You may need to make the next kaleidoscope to stop the spread of the “what will it look like” virus !!

When you reach the end of the number of Kaleidoscopes you need - the virus and the fever should disappear.

If you experience a return of Fabric Fever you will need to start the treatment all over again!!!

May you be blessed with good eyes strong hands and an able mind!
And great fabric!!

Stack and Whacks do appeal to me, but I'm scared to death to try one! I'm afraid I may get started and decide it's too complicated and throw it to the side and find something else addicting to do!!
