Tell me about the Sewline pencil. Where do you get them?

They may not be good for writing on your quilts but they would sure do well in a magic act! LOL

IMHO it might depend on what you are marking or tracing. If you are drawing lines that will be cut, or something that will be buried in a seam allowance, perhaps it's not an issue. I just bought several pens on a recent shop hop and while I have only used one once, I really liked it because the line is so thin. Perhaps they are not meant for an heirloom Baltimore album wedding quilt, but I'll sure use it on my placemats, baby gifts and Project Linus quilts.

Well.. I am one of those that use the Microns.. I am one of those who is not worried about the lines.. they are "hidden" one way or another.. but Micron pens are archival.. which means they will not harm the materials they come in contact with .. are these Frixion pens archival quality?

Thanks for the 'heads up' on these pens.
Think I will stick to my purple invisible pens! :P

Just curious as to why you decided to put it in the freezer for your test? Did you also use a test piece in just normal room temperature as most quilts would remain there? And if so, did the markings show up again? By the way I see you are in the same town as me, Aiken, SC 29803. Small world!
