I admire ANYONE who attempts a DEAR JANE!! I just do not believe I would have the patience. No way!!

Good for you! I took works in progress to my husband's appointments before and after multiple back surgeries. Had such fun conversations as a result! Made the time pass so much faster, too.

I love your positive and creative use of your time. I am sure your whole family and friends, too, will see the how positive you are.

When I had an active medical practice I was able to get several of my patients reading more. As they found out I was an avid reader they would bring their books to our appointments and then I'd make a point to briefly discuss with them what they were reading. The waiting room discussions were a hoot too. Maybe you are just the inspiration for a budding quilter is looking for . ali |
I'm with you on this! I knit in doctors offices ... literally in the examining room until the doc some in! Please post your progress...love to see it! Good luck to your son with his therapy!

Well, certainly the others waiting you are not quilters. Now if I had been there, we would have been friends quickly and had a myriad of things to talk about. Then again ~ you probably would not have accomplished a lot. I will be anxiously awaiting pics of you progress.

Can't wait to see your progress. I am just starting mine this weekend.
