RE:binding video by Sharon Shamber:
Does anybody have a fine-point Elmer's glue applicator like shown in Sharon Shamber's binding video?
Where did you buy it?

So last night I followed Sharon Shamber's binding video. The 3/8" SA was a ah ha moment, my 1/4" SA usually resulted in some waves in my binding. Binding rolls over perfectly now. And I love how you join the two ends of the binding to get a nice smooth binding. I have this video specially bookmarked.
I didn't have the tip for the glue bottle but was just careful not to over squeese the bottle. The glue does make the flannel a little stiffer for sewing down the binding.

But once you wash it, the flannel will become as soft as it was before.

You will fine them in the decorative painting (tole painting) area of your craft stores. It is metal and has a metal stick to keep the tip clean. As it screws on you will probably need to get a small bottle, paint size, to put the glue on.I happened to have one as I paint also and better than I quilt...LOL. I've been using my elmers straight from the elmers bottle. You get very good control.

I went to three places today to try to find it, but nobody even knew what it is!! What's going on here? Is it a figment of our collective imaginations? Did we really see her using it on the tute? Has anyone found it yet???

I checked at Michael's and they did not have it. Hope someone can find us a source!
