I see many workshops for blocks..i think a workshop for tips and tricks on finishing quilts would be so useful! Binding, Machine quilting, basting, difference between batting etc...

No - one can tell from which side I was doing the final stitching and my binding goes on very quickly.

What was the trick? I don't like to finish by hand either because it is too time consuming.

Best tip ever is to relax and enjoy the process, nothing is ever perfect and trying to reach it will only lead to frustration and you are supposed to have fun and enjoy being creative.

Mistake? Can you spot it on a galloping horse? No, then it is a planned design change.

I learned by accident if I pulled the binding strip fabric just a little to the left when sewing the fabric goes back right over the seam line and covers it up. It works every time.

What did the tailor tell you? What is the trick? You have my interest on this one. Thanks

Those are all great tips! As a newbie, I'm watching this for more.

I learned from someone on this board to do that plus 1 more pin just a hair to the left of those 2. My seams have lined up perfectly since learning this.

One of my least favorite things to do for baby quilts............can you explain the technique.
