I had a red set which seem to disappear. I'm sure they have legs and end up helping friends at classes. They always run back. I use for most jobs mentioned also to keep my paper pieced pattern sections before or after glueing to fabric in applique.

I have the small red ones. I had only used them for binding until one of my grand daughters was using them in place of pins. She informed me they were flat on the bottom and she pulled them off like she pulled pins out. I'm learning from a 10 year old.

I pretty much use them for everything. I only use pins now if wonder clips or washable glue won't work.

Almost any place i used a pin. My fingers love them.

If you are incorporating plastics or other "stuff" into your sewing/quilting the Wonder Clips work well to hold the layers together so you don't poke pinholes in the plastic, like for lunch bags. etc. or plastic lining for make-up bags.

I use one to hold the embroidery thread I'm working from, after it's cut from the skein I can't tell which end to use, (if you work from the back end it tangles more) I hang it on a magnet connected to my lamp so it's easy to find and not tangled. When I'm floating a quilt top and don't want it on the floor, I clip it up with them. When I get my binding ready to attach I clip a couple on before I throw it over my shoulder, that way if I have to stop before I finish it doesn't get all messed up.

I like the embroidery thread idea - hadn't thought of that. I use them for things like holding felt doll pieces together before I sew them. I just reach for them for a lot of quickie things when pins just won't do. I still use the silver hair clips a lot, too. And years ago learned to use hair pins (bobby pins) when turning up hems to sew.

Holding the binding in place is my first choice, what a wonderful tool. I also use the large green ones to hold pieces together as I cut them for a project so I don't lose any. Just about any place I used pins the Wonder Clips work and avoid getting stuck.
