I haven't noticed anyone here mentioning the "House Ruler" manufactured by Creative Grids. I am wondering how easy it is to use and is it worth purchasing. I sure don't need to buy another ruler that just sits on the shelf. But if this is really useful, I'd like to put it on my Christmas list.
Something I've never once used since I got it quite a number of years ago as a gift, is a set of Marti Michell's Perfect Patchwork Templates Set C. They all have the squared off corners to eliminate dog ears. I know they were expensive, but I found no use for them. Am I just being dumb? Do any of you have and use them? 8-) |
Wow - thanks fir the WD-40 tip.

About the Marti Michelle templates, yes I have them and use them when I can remember to. It takes a little time to find the right pieces for the block but when I do, I just put them in a plastic sandwich bag and keep with the project. My fave leaf block is a maple leaf, looks like the real thing, and the pieces must be just right. Marti's templates help with the piecing, no guess work.

Well maybe I am wrong...or just not using it right, but I just got a clover tabletop needle threader, and cant seem to get it to work ( wrong needles maybe?) anyway at $16.00 it seemed a waste.

either. Wasted $16.00 too. |
I asked if anyone had tried the Simplicity Delux Rotary Cutting Machine. Nobody answered so I guess that means nobody has tried it. I am looking to buy it but don't want to till someone says they have tried it.
