I will never use folded dahlias in a quilt again. I've done two, but never again.

Can't remember the name but it's a table runner. You sew tubes of fabric of 3 different colors. Then you weave them together and sew on a border. It turned out well but man it used almost 31/2 meters of fabric.

As we don't have to discuss a NEVER, EVER "quilt" and we can say "a garment"...I will NEVER, EVER and I do mean NEVER make an "American Revolution reinactment coat/jacket"
Only the love of a brother got me into this mess one Christmas. The material was so hard to work with, the pattern so incomplete and gussets, fringe, OMG. He LOVED it, WORE it to many events with his muzzleloading rifle, and he did look so handsome, cute, and proud, but NEVER, EVER. I guess I would not make a good pioneer woman. |
I will never make (actually I haven't finished the first, and only) Star Spin again.
|
I will never ever use a hexagon block for a quilt. My grandmother started me on a beggerman's quilt with hexagon blocks. It is in strips but not together yet. Even my mother who was an excellent seamstress refused to finish it for me.

Slipcovers!

I will never make another baby seat thing you put in a shopping cart! I threw the pattern away!!!!!

For me it is anything flannel!!! After making 5 rag quilts I have been sorely disappointed by the quality of flannel after washing them and seeing all the pills. I have decided I HATE flannel with a passion. The same thing happens to my flannel sheets and it is a waste of money. I will make rag quilts again but not with flannel, I will try homespun fabrics for my next one.
