JA flannel. I washed the first ones, but had a terrible time sewing them afterwards. So the last ones I didn't wash before sewing--yes, I know that is a no-no. |
Raggety Ann doll...for the most part it was fine, but that HAIR!! Drove me batty!

I will never work with terry cloth again!!! Last year My DH bought me a Go for my Anniversary (Jan. 14.) The day before I had bought some lovely washrags & they were setting on the cutting table waiting for me to add 'em to the wash before use. When I brought the Go in & set it on the cutting table, those washrags were sitting there looking like wonderful bunch of fat quarters. My mind went a little off of the deep end, put 2 & 2 together & got 6! I thought it would make a nice back for my sister's quilt. I went to all of the Dollar Generals in town & bought up all of these washrags. What a mess!!! Never again.

Leather car seat covers. DH (he's an ex now; gee, I wonder why) told a co-worker I could sew anything. The man was selling his car but the front seat covers were in bad shape. According to him it didn't matter how mine turned out as they would be better than what was in the car. Never again.

Oh this is an easy question.
Ever try to do a bias binding with lame? Well don't. I'll never work with ANY lame again; I spent years sewing flags for high school color guards. Now I volunteer with my checkbook. |
Black binding on black backing!

A sweatshirt jacket. So ill fitting. It's not worth the time and money I spent on the fabrics for it.
