I have the day off from watching my 4 yr. old grandson. So today I plan to begin working on this quilt.

I really love this wall hanging! Is there a reason why you use wool instead of cotton? Can you wash it once done?
Thanks, DebbE. It's finished now with a sleeve and green binding which I sewed by hand on the back (I usually machine stitch them, but this one was small enough to do in one sitting) and ready to go once its hangar arrives . Once it comes down, the Christmas wreath goes up. The pattern is downstairs, but if you want the details about it, just shoot me a PM. |

The binding on two Thanksgiving table runners.

I'm hoping to finish piecing a rail fence top that I decided last week to give to my aunt for Christmas. All my blocks are done, just have to finish putting the top together. After that, I think I'm going to give Elmer's glue basting a try on this one - for the whole quilt as discussed in a thread here earlier. Hope it works for me. I need to get my basting table out of my living room so I can get my Christmas tree put up next week! LOL
