Love the colors. I think a tote bag would be great.

My DH says make a picture quilt with an insert of a boy stomping in a puddle, but I don't know how to do that. Ideas?

I got so many great ideas! I have been offline (about killed me) for 5 days after our hurricane, so am just looking at the important stuff right now... Thank you all so much.
The fabric is from Hi-Fashion Fabrics, Inc, pattern #HFGM-C 6561. I will definitely post a picture of whatever it grows up to be. |
Love the bright umbrellas - adorable fabric

a purse or placemats

I love the fabric. Your husband's idea is a great idea. The colring pages website has a really cute picture of a boy with a frog. Your quilt can be done with a 'reverse applique technique'. I will enjoy seeing what you decide to make with it. Thanks for sharing. Eiltcoq.

Love your fabric, I'm tossing around the idea of a quilt with a medallion center on point made with an umbrella appliqué, then a border or two, then blocks on point with mini umbrellas, ducks and rubber boots. you could add some bright yellows in there, some blues to show water, oh fun! maybe I need to go get a yard of that fabric! |

The only thing I can think of is to make some squares maybe a Sunbonnet Sue & Sunbonnet Sam scattered among the umbrella squares and in between squares use some of the umbrella colors. I hope you can picture what I mean. Good Luck. Sue

Hi Lee, I am new to the site and really stumbled upon it looking for some of the Umbrella fabric that Hancock's carried a few years back. I was wondering if you still have some left and would be willing to sell it.
