What sticks out the most for me is reading someone's comment that sometimes "done" is better than perfect. That was a revelation to me. Lol. If you only knew how many things I never saw through to the end because I couldn't get them perfect...that is a liberating idea for many aspects of my life! My new mantra!

Wow, I agree there are so many. But I would say that my latest favorite is having the sewing table leg hold on to the binding while sewing this on. I have been using this tip ever since I saw it on this board. What a gem.

It would take awhile to list them all but I have started using lots of starch. It really works great. Specially when piecing. It helps the fabric from stretching. My longarm quilter (Shelley from here on the board) really likes me using it too. :thumbup:

A little gross, but when trying to thread your machine, put a little saliva on the thread and it will go right thru the needle. Yep, it works! :P
