So much wonderful info and you CAN teach an old dog new tricks.

All of the above and especially referrals to tutorials.

There are so many things, the tutorials are great. Love the photo section too, so many wonderful quilts on there.
Oh and the cheaper rotary blades at HF store.

The tutorials are my favorite. The videos really help. This site keeps me motivated. I also love the other things we talk about, ie recipes, canning, etc.

After reading all the above I realize that I have so much more to learn. Maybe we should have a search for help in "what we need to learn, want to learn, would love to learn" either by tuts or by pictures or by the written word. I know where I would start; How to do glue binding? Thanks all.

I've been quilting for about 60 years, if not more and thought my quilting good, Now I know it wasn't. After reading so many tips, and seeing so many beautiful quilts, I have been, even using my old methods, attempting to perfect my work. Very happy to me a member of the Board.

There are so many it would be hard to say which is the best. I do know and will say tho that this board is great, if you need help or even when you don't and mention something, someone picks it up and runs with it. I mentioned I couldn't get a book here in Fresno, a lady is sending me her copy, now how is that for being a wonderful lady and this board whew. So all I will say is thank you all for the support friendship and the caring that does go on here. You are all very talented lovly ladies and men as I know we have some pretty special men here too. Thank you all for being our friends. And of course I can never say enough about the talent on this board, just look at the pictures and you will see. Whew never in my dreams even could I ever be that talented.

check out the tutorial at guiltgallery, it's by Sharon Schamber. It' great. I bought the smaller tips for the glue bottle that she had recommended but they aren't necessary, just don't go glue happy , you don't want to sew through it..

My favorite is using left over batting in my swifter. There is so much I've learned from this board and continue to learn every time I come here.
