I'm pretty new at quilting. After taking a class and making a small table top quilt, I decided to dive right in and make a large bed size. Where does everyone get the wide backing....not everyone carries it.

I usually piece backings. But they are available mostly on line shops.

I've gotten mine at JoAnn's. They have a small selection, but I've been able to find somehting that matches well enough.

Amish quilt shops usually carry them and they usually have a bigger selection than most stores. Almost any fabric store will have the muslin and bleached muslin wide backs.
