#1 because it's an analogous color scheme (they touch on the color wheel) that reflects unity with just enough neutral beige to balance it out and keep it from being boring. The colors are mostly warm (red, orange, yellow, brown and beige) with a splash of cool green to freshen it up yet calm it down.

#1 & #4 for sure are my favs. #1 is traditional leaf colors, while #4, by adding that little bit of the blue makes everything else pop.
I like Marcia's suggestion about the purple --she's right, it makes a great addition to fall colors!

Number 2 catches my eye the most. :)

# 2 for sure for me. nice contrast and gives it depth
Love #3. The blues in the background almost give it a stained glass effect.
I like #4 I think it has more depth to it.
#3 and #1 . 1 looks like fall but 3 looks like fall with the fall skies. There is nothing quite like the blue skies in fall.
I vote for #1--I would use multiple different fabrics for all the leaves--all in fall colors. Of course I do like scrap quilts and have a large stash of scraps.
In #3, I find the blues distracting. When you actually do the quilt I hope you will share a photo. Its a beautiful pattern. |
#4.
I like #1
I agree with BB like num. 2
#1 & #4 for me
I like #3 the best. It reminds me of a glorious fall day when the maples have turned their orangeypink colors and it's sunny and the sky is blue, with no clouds...
3 for me
I like number 1
#2 - it looks like autumn day with clear skies, cold weather, and says snuggly to me.
I like # 1

#1
These are all beautiful - but i like both three and four. :P
They are all beautiful but I'm drawn to #1 and #4.
They are all pretty but I like No. 1 best.
I agree #1 is the best, #4 takes your eye away from the middle and puts in on the sashing, no pattern, but I like all but 4. I am sure you are going to get many different answers but they all seem to agree about 4. Hope this helps,
Rita |
I like #1 best, with #4 a close second.
Love the pattern. |
I like #1 and #3
All of the selections are beautiful, but I LOVE #2 - looks very rich...love the way the blue "pops".
I like #3 it just really draws my eye.
I like #3 because it shows all the design elements in the quilt better than the others. Of course I am partial to blue. :-)
My choice is definitely #1.
I really like #4. If you're wanting to add blues I would do that one. I just read through many of the comments. When I reviewed them again. I still like 4. I love that it has blue, green and yellow in it. It reminds me of a warm fall day. My eye kept traveling around all the blocks looking at the different colors. The one color looked on the burgundy side of brown I liked that as well. I hope you keep us posted on your choice and the finished project.
I like #1
I vote for #1 - colors are awsome.
I like #2 and then #1
My first choice is #1 (maybe because it goes so well with my living room)
My second choice is #2 because the blue is surrounded by a very soft and light color. #3 seems too bright on the blue to be a true fall-like quilt(to me anyway). #4 looks too busy with the higher contrast in colors |
I love the way you incorporated the blues in the last one, but they are ALL really great!! Looks like a really intricate pattern! Show us how it goes, as you do it, okay? Would love to see it.
I would vote for # 1. The green just seems to go with the fall feeling. I too love fall colors. Thanks also for posting where to find the pattern.
I like the green in #1. On all of them the leaves don't seem to pop out enough and they are your focal point. Maybe the sashings should be more contrasting to the leaves.
I vote #1
My sentiments exactly.............#1 and #4.
