I like #4. In 1, 2, and 3 the background recedes but in 4 my eye bounces back and forth between background and leaves. Almost an optical illusion. Definately 4.

I like #3....I like what the blue does for the whole thing!

I like 3 & 4! Please, let us know which one you use!
I vote for ONE!!
I think #4 because all the colors are there.
I like #4 the best. Because nature has more than just a few colors. Although I might not go as bright on the sashing. I'm thinking of doing a similar pattern, and I'm going to take the colors from a picture of a fall picture that even had a little pink in it. So this can be unlimited in colors.
I like # 3 and #2, in that order. #4 is too busy, and #1 is too plain.
They're all quite nice, but #1 is my favorite!

So I drew up the pattern in EQ5, and experimented a little with colors. I didn't play around with the borders too much. I think the outer border may be a decision that waits until I actually have the project underway. I have four colorways to post....it might take two tries. Thanks for being patient. I join the minority, I like three.
#3 is my favorite. #4 is my least favorite, but they are all nice.
I really like #3 best. Those blues just pop out... the others are pretty also.
They all look good but if I had to choose one to make myself I would chooss the 4th with a softer orange.

If you are going to put the blue in, I like number 3 the best.
I'm weird, too. The leaves are the last thing I see in the photos. That's the problem with photos...the sashing seems the focal point to me.
I like #3. It really reminds me of looking up through the trees in October. Blue skies and Autumn leaves, and all that. Any one you choose will be lovely though.
I'm drawn to #4 Feels like out in the woods with a river running through it. It has the fall foliage colors, the green grasses and the water. To me, it's the total package! Hands down #4 for me.
Funny how we all see it differently. That's what makes quilting so unique. |
#1
I like design #1. I like 3 also, with the blue skies, but it takes away from the focal point.
Number 1 looks the most like fall to me.
#2 with the blue make it pop for me.
#1 and #4 are my choices.
I vote for number 1
#2 gets my vote.
I vote for #1 or #3 with a schootch more in favor of 3.
I vote for #4...but love all of them!

I like them all but #1 is my favorite.
I absolutely agree with you. Number 4 does seem to be the "total package".
I also prefer #1 which seems more restful. #4 is more exciting - depends on the mood you want to create.
I like 1
I liked #1 for fall. Blue is a cool color and would cut down on the "warm looking" factor.
I like #4 the best.
My choice is number 1, It is a great pattern, and very fallish....
they are all pretty, but I like #'s 1 and 4 best
I like #1 best, then #4.
I choose #1 but that's because my favorite colorway is Fall. #2 is a good second choice. The last two are too busy for me
I like #2 and #3, blue is my favorite color, so if it has blue I love it.
I like 4 the best.
I like 1 and 4 but 4 is my favorite. What a beautiful quilt! Did you design it?
