Read the directions...they usually recommend ink jet. Laser printers get hot and you can ruin the printer using printer sheets.

Inkjet printers deposit inks to print. These are droplets of liquid.

Laser printers essentially melt particles of toner on paper pressing it against a drum. This required significant heat.

You risk damage to fabric and permanent damage to a laser printer if you run fabric through it unless the owner's manual specifically states this is an acceptable media to print on.
