I am so sure that I would never use up all my stash because I just keep adding to it. Seems like I need X amount of yards of this fabric because it is just right in that quilt, and so pretty I better get some extra, I'll find a place to use it. SOMEDAY. I've decided not to worry about have all this stash, when I am gone, my girls can figure it out. lol

Yah Yah! I plan to live at least to 120...and take a day off every couple years I don't hand quilt anymore..takes to long but will keep on being quite busy.. until like Bilbo the Habbit says I feel like toast with the butter spread to thin on it..Yes I may buy a few more beautiful pieces to use in some more quilts before I stop.

I've thought what I will do when my eyes go or I can't figure out a pattern, it will be a sad day. I'm hoping that I'll learn a really easy quilt that I can do in my sleep! If and when that happens I'll be piecing until the day I kick the bucket!

    That couldn't possibly be it

I will probably never live long enough to use up my stash either. I just hope it goes to a good home when I'm gone.

Wow. 107 and still quilting by hand. That's great. However, it makes me feel really bad about bitching when I need to hand sew a binding on a quilt.

I think it's kind of funny how we all look at things differently. I have never thought I wanted to live long enough to reduce or use up my stash - de-stashing has never even entered my mind. My wish has always been to live long enough to make all the different kinds of quilts I want to make.

I would hope to still be able to sew if I live to that age. My old buddy is only 80 and dying. Her last years have not been kind to her.
