I just realized that I have already done one similar to this LOL So I'm going to do something different! I promised myself that I wouldn't do repeats this year haha

Check MSQC, she has a tutorial on the quarterfoil block. Easy one and stunning.

I probably would cut 6.5" strips and make them into Falling Charms quilt. I sew the background to the strip, press, then sub cut them and sew the other background strip and you have all your blocks finished.

I love your purple/blue quilt!! Once I get the time I think I will make Dragon Bones again in those colors!!

I started off with something different - and easy (I have LOTS of fabric left and will be doing the quarterfoil next!) ... which layout is the best?

I love it. great fabrics and great pattern that you pick out. I like the 3x3 layout what will you put in the blank spaces? ohhhhhhhhh,, I know maybe some really cool embroidery. maybe to the tastes of the person it is for?
