I have tried to determine who the manufacturer is - do you have that information?

If I remember right, the interest on those easy payments is over 20%...factor that into your cost and it will add thousands by the time you're done. A lot of banks and credit unions are offering cards now with the first 12 months interest free on purchases..or save till you can afford a good down payment..that interest rate is just crazy to me.

If it was, Tin Lizzie is no more.

There is a new company called Lockstep Lizzie that started out of the remains of that company, but I don't believe they support the old machines. What I have heard from a longarm tech is that it's very difficult to source parts for the Tin Lizzie machines these days.

MKC - I believe you replied on a thread I just started asking about similar. I'm being gifted a Queen Quilter 18 - and I'm trying to determine if it is a worthwhile endeavor. How would one go about researching more about the manufacturer? Lockstep Lizzie has a contact email page but isn't replying. How could one get in contact with a Long Arm Tech??

This guy was very helpful to me when I had a repair question, and there was never going to be any money in it for him, he was just being helpful..so I would think if you had a question about this machine he'd answer you if you e-mailed him.
