    I too use the flower head pins but yes there are some that seem better than others. I read awhile ago that Fons & Porter have long thin glass head pins that are good but haven't tried them. I think the issue is the thinner the better they slide but maybe it's more about if they are nickel or not. Ladies, keep the opinions going. I need this info too.

    I bought a package of Clover ones at Joanns and they are sharp , no problem here
