    I agree. It is too hard to do those long applique pieces and get them straight.

    It looks like you could easily strip piece the sides of these blocks. I would think that would be the easiest way to do it. Then again, maybe someone else has a better idea!

    Thanks for all the opinions and I just spent the day cutting out the fabric so the blacks are a separate piece, not appliqued.
