I am 81, and have been quilting since 1988, when I gave up on it, because the woman in the Q-shop cut the material, and I never had enough for the project. It turned me off, until 1993, when I moved up to Wappingers Falls, (N.Y.) and found a really nice Quilting Basket, where the ladies were wonderful with help..and used new cutting methods, so the customers were not cheated... I REALLY started quilting then, joined 2 guilds, and a smaller (7) group, and absolutely love it... I also knit, crochet, smock, tat, counted cross stitch, but don't care for crewel work... Thanks for listening... Diana O.

Keep on quilting. It's better than medicine. I'm 75 and hope to keep on quilting for a long time. A hobby keeps us young and making and giving a quilt is good for the body and soul.
