I totally agree, mary. The fabric choices can change this pattern up so much. I have made tons of baby quilts with this pattern and they all look so different.

I have had good luck with Panels and borders, closing it with a closing border of Flying Geese, Piano Keys, ect.
Both Missouri Star and Keepsake have really nice-looking panels.
Good luck!

Jenny has a really neat pineapple quilt that is easy to make but looks very difficult. I watched her tutorial video last night and that is another quilt on my bucket list.

Wow, I love this one! Is the only way to get the pattern is by buying it?

I love that, too. I'd buy it if there was a download.

Easy peasy, looks great and gives you a lot of quilting options. Depending on how large you make your squares, you can cover a lot of ground quickly. I have no idea what the pattern would be called, but I saw a gorgeous example on Facebook done in Fall colors. Here's my example, although not as nice as the one I saw and still in progress: although you might want to leave out the dog...
Great colors! Reminds me of a winter night and hot chocolate.

I'm guessing it is. I bought the project book from her when I attended a workshop of hers years ago. The workbook I have is a spiral bound book has clear, easy to follow instructions and step by step illustrations. Assuming she still has the same format, it is totally worth it.
