Default Quillow Ruffle Question

I'm making a quillow. I do not have a pattern. I have an idea of how to make it based on some free patterns I've found online. However, I would like to add a ruffle. How do I attach a ruffle to the pocket pouch and then onto the quilt?
The ruffle would have to end up on the inside of the pouch when unfolded, but I don't want any rough edges to show when it is unfolded.
Any suggestions?

Baste or safety pin the pocket on way inside the actual sewing line ... then when you can see what it does you can add the ruffle.

Are you using prequilted material or making your own?

The pocket on a quillow does not get turned inside out. If you put a ruffle inside, it will stay there. If you want a ruffle on it, you certainly can put one around the pocket, but it will be there when you open the quilt. I have a quillow in my favorite chair right now and just checked it to make sure I was not giving you any false information. Make any way that pleases you.

This is curious to me. I always thought that it did get flipped to the outside.
I'll have to think about it some more now. Thanks for the info.

We did turn our pockets inside out when we folded the quillow. Maybe there is more than one way to fold them????
