www.quiltcraftsew.com this one comes to Phoenix, AZ. Mostly vendors selling. Very few quilts. I am spoiled though because for a few years I was living in Houston and went to the International Quilt Show. I haven't been to the one here in three years. Parking is too expensive just to go in and spend money on supplies you can get at your local shops which I prefer to support. This one also goes to Pomona, CA. Road to California is better in that it has more quilts on display. AQS was here I think two years ago but turnout was so poor they said they wouldn't be back. Heartbreaking because I took classes for the first time ever and met some great instructors and had a great time even though I was on crutches at the time.

By the way, the Dallas Quilt Show is next weekend. I go every year and never come home empty handed. I go to buy not necessarily to look at the judged quilts.

We have one here in Phoenix at the end of January. It is put on by Rusty Barn Productions. Lots of vendors with new patterns, materials, notions, and more. One of my friends bought an event sewing machine for a great discount. The vendors don't want to take everything home. I bought my Tutto that way. We make it a fun day and thoroughly enjoy ourselves.
This year I was looking for a specific sewing machine cabinet. Unfortunately it isn't being made yet. I want small, not heavy, and an electric lift. I can only hope someone makes it one day. Or save to have it specially made. The Koala one was way too heavy. Darn.

I wasn’t able to go to the Puyallup Sew Expo which is ends today, but thought this might be a little bit like it.
I didn't make it to the Puyallup show either, but heard it was disappointing for quilters. To be fair, it was billed as "Sew Expo" so it had a lot of crafts and sewing activities other than quilting.
Since I am more interested in quilting, I'm going to wait for the "Quilt Expo" in the fall.

We are going to the Dallas Quilt Show this Saturday. It is always a good show, 90% quilt related. The quilts on display are fantastic. The quilts are displayed in rows in among the booths which I like because you can view the quilts and look at the vendor booths also.
