I have made a few "Quilt In A day" quilts over a number of years. But I can absolutely say for sure, I have NEVER made one in a day. It's true as someone here said, that's just her logo now. I think originally she meant it, but I have the first book she ever produced and STILL couldn't make that one in a day. I believe she must mean 24 hours of sitting and sewing & cutting and sewing some more, without a break. Maybe then, but I'm not even sure of that.

I have done the round the world quilt in a day from Eleanor Burns. It was my very first quilt and had a blast!

I too have tried the "quilt in a day" ...the Sun Bonnet Sue's ( 2 king sized )....it took me 4 days....so maybe a Quilted potholder in a day is more reasonable...lol

Not only is Quilt in a Day a trade name, but back when she started, she did much simpler quilts. like Log Cabin. Those were easily done in a day, especially if you were doing a crib or a twin size. Her patterns now are much more complicated and do take more time.

Several years ago I made my son a Log Cabin Quilt in a Day - took me 2 years! I suppose a top could be made in one day but I haven't done it yet! Glad to hear someone else changed the name to "Quilt in a couple of years"!
