Wow - that WAS a miracle. And I second the request for a picture of the whole quilt. From what you show, it's gorgeous.

Wow, a story with two happy endings! Adorable doggy and puppies and gorgeous portion of quilt. Will also look forward to a picture of the whole quilt.

Cute mama and babies.

I've found that flushing most stains like blood, feces, urine, and vomit with cold water - when they are still fresh - gets most of the color out. Do this before doing anything else.

Glad you were able to save what looks like a very labor intensive (not talking about the dog) quilt!

Smile Quilt Picture

Thanks for all the nice comments! I love this forum!

I am posting a picture of the quilt (shows most of it). Taken before the puppy disaster...lol. Sorry, I am not the best picture-taker.

I really loved doing the round robin. How exciting to work on making someone else's quilt become beautiful and not knowing to the last day what your own quilt will look like! I was amazed when I got mine back. The quilters used wonderful compatable colors and their border designs are beautiful. I was going for a "Fall" look and it turned out well. I would do it again.

What a beautiful quilt and adorable puppies! You had some talented quilters add to your quilt. The colors all go so well together.

Thanks so much for posting a full picture of your quilt! I've never paticipated (way too chicken, afraid I'd really mess up someone else's quilt!) in the round robins, but have really wanted to try to make one similar on my own. Yours is absolutely beautiful!!
