I agree. You handled that with enormous grace. That's one of those situations where I would probably have been speechless and later would have steamed over the things I "should have" said. Kudos to you!

Good for you - maybe you helped her in for her future which will be tough with that critical eye and lack of knowledge.

Bless you for your tact and patience. As a former teacher, I doubt that I would have lasted that long before showing her the door. She is clueless and rude and IGNORANT! Keep on enjoying your quilting and never let her back in your house.

Most things can be fixed, but you can't fix stupid.....means they are too dumb and rude to know how dumb and rude they are.

I LOVE what you said to her and hope she thinks about it a long time. How dare her to come in your house and behave that way. Everything you said to her was a lot more kind than I would have been. Bless your heart!!

Amen to that! And it applies to other areas, not just sewing!

Oh my goodness!! Some people just can't help but show and prove their tactlessness and ignorance, can they? I applaud your GREAT poise and presence of mind and tact. It is a strange world for some people, isn't it?

Oh, I just have to get in on this one! What an IGNORANT person. And I just love your definition. You are really a trooper for putting up with that. I think I would have shown her the door and then shoved her through it after the first 5 minutes.
Isn't it amazing how someone who has NEVER done what you are sharing with her, knows how wrong you are!
