Could you give us a close up picture or a description of the "..touches of beads"? I'd like to see how you used them on our beautiful quilt. Thanks so much.

I used Swarovski crystals and they're very hard to capture in a picture. They're in the center of the red squares, in the flying geese on the points of the outer triangles and in the center of each diamond. They're red so blend in with the fabrics but catch the light very nicely, though don't photograph well. I posted a close up in my picture thread but you can't see them any better in it than in this pic.

It is a gorgeous quilt and deserves another chance at another show.

Just out of curiosity, and I'm not asking you to name it, but was this a guild show or a county fair show? If it was a guild show, was it by any chance their first?

I'm the chair of our 2012 quilt show. I'll be sure to watch out for moved ribbons and make sure our judge gives hints for improvement. Thanks for the heads up.

It is a gorgeous quilt!!! Congratulations on your Honorable Mention. Bummer the show did not seem to have been run as well as it should have!
