I did the same thing, but I reversed two of the colors in one of the blocks (I was using batiks). I was not too happy with myself, however, I took the blocks, added sashing and loved the look. My granddaughter got it for graduation and loves it.

I wanted to ask about that pattern "take five" as I have 5 I could use and that # doesn't seem too busy a look.
But, I got excited since you live in Cape Coral and I winter

Nobody will ever know. Had the same thing happen to me recently and I can't even tell now. Keep it the way it is.

Do you like them the way they are now? If so I would just continue to do them "wrong". If it bothers you, by all means start ripping!!!!!!!!!

you would probably be happier if you took them apart and redone them

The book is "Take 5" and I think the author is Kathy Brown. It has several fun & quick quilts.

Thank You Mimiknoxtaylor- because at this age I have too much fabric to do intricate detail quilts. I need to find simpler quick quilts that will mostly be for charity and not heirloom. Actually, I even like the looks of some of the larger pieced quilts.

Your quilt looks lovely. The pattern doesn't looks too difficult.
It's something that I would like to try :) :-)
