I must have been bitten by the same bug, because the symptoms are similar to the T. I also look at all tools, canisters, empty containers, etc. with the purpose of seeing how it can assit with feeding the bug. What a wonderful addiction we all share.

I have just started quilting and am hooked. I am taking a class from a quilter and having a lot of fun. I took my granddaughter to swim class in the first indoor high school pool, which was created from tiles. And I saw a quilt pattern - I need to take a photo of it though. I told my teacher and she said that will happen, so we are not alone. I am almost finished with my first quilt and am working on my second. And I have enough fabric for 5 more quilts!

Although I would love to cure my diabetes and weight problem, I pray that there is no cure for this problem during my lifetime. To make it more troublesome, I married a designer so he is always helping.

In Italy, all I could do was take pics of the floors in the churchs. Lots of quilt patterns there.

I read somewhere, a long time ago, that when you are really a quilter you will see quilting designs all over the place. I keep looking at my heat registers. The design on that would make a beautiful quilt.

I'm glad to know there are a bunch of other people like me. I s/b quilting but here I am. Its funny sometimes how you look at something and it looks so much like a pattern. I always say I have to live to be 200 to finish the material I have and yet I keep seeing more beautiful patterns. I think I shoul stop looking but I can't seem to. Good Luck quilting. Sue

Know what you mean, I just cut up 27 shirts that my son-in-law can't wear since he gained weight and the sleeves are too short now also. He is a big guy, that's a lot of fabric to play with, plain, striped, and plaids, will make a cozy quilt. I think I will use them to make the quilt shown on page 33 of Quilt Almanac. The shirts are very similar to the fabrics used in that quilt. Theirs is out of flannels, and it was designed by Barbara Campbell.

I find myself while at a movie seeing a quilt hung on the wall during a scene. I keep waiting for them to come back to that view so I can see it.
