Quilting With Hemp Fabrics

I have some thin, hemp fabric that I'd like to use in a quilt, either for the top, or the back. I've sewn with hemp before...it's tough stuff. I'll definitely use a heavier, sharper needle. Has anyone else ever used it for quiltmaking?
