Another question is: Do you want to save $5 on a marking pencil after you have already spent $100 on fabric and Lord knows how many hours of work?

When you are testing these markers, be sure to wash and dry your test piece, then iron it. Some of the marks will reappear with heat. Not something you want to find out when pressing the finished piece for a show or a gift.

I just read in a long arm group where the crayola washable markers came out of the top but ran through to the back and stained it. I would not use them for marking.

I have used the crayola washable markers in all the colors and they all washed out completely on white fabric and all other colors. I think they are great and give me something to use when nothing else shows up on a color or print. I use friction pens also. love them too.
